Help with Reporting Illegal Lender to FTC
Hello,
So I recently closed my bank account on 2 illegal Tribal Lenders. 1 I am currently negotiating repayment of the principal with but the other, Blue Pine Lending, I have overpaid by almost $300. I sent them an email ( using the sample letter found here on the forums ) and all they have done so far is send an automated response to my email about how to check the status of my account online so far ( logged in and it still shows open and current with remaining balance of almost $1688 on a $400 principal loan ).
They called at least one of my references so far this morning and so now I definitely want to file a complaint with the FTC, and wanted some help.
Attaching screenshot of the complaint form - do I put that I originally initiated contact with the company because I took out the loan and base all dates and agent info based on that, or should I fill out based on when the calls to my references started, who called them, and that they are intitiating contact?
A little guidance would be much appreciated!!!
