How to proceed with Mobiloans

How to proceed with Mobiloans
I told them in my email that I would repay the principal, outlined how I would pay. No response. In a second or third email, I relayed the same info but added if they didn't respond in a timely manner I would just write them off so to speak. Told them if they sent me to collections I'd c&d them. No response.
It's been over a week and haven't received any calls, emails or nothing.
I guess I just wait and see.
I am helping my mom with her
I am helping my mom with her loans. She sent Mobiloans an email today for the first time. She got the same response. She sent another one saying she would only respond in email, and had the same letter attached. So for no response. I am curious to see if and when we get a response!

Did she get an email from them stating that they no longer made loans to her state of residence? I got one of those about a week before payment was due. I called and they told me that they had computer problems!! I think that is when they were put on notice about blocking of ach usage. I haven't called them back and don't intend to. I have sent probably 5 emails total and get the same generic response. I'm going to send one this week and wait and see what happens.
Yes she did. That is what
Yes she did. That is what made her want to look in to more. I found the forums here and started reading them and researching. She just sent her first email today and the generic response. She will do the same and continue to email. I'm hoping it goes somewhat smoothly. Now to proceed with Plain Green and Great Plains. I'm hoping they don't get sent to collections and the phone calls start.
So yesterday generic response
So yesterday generic response. Wanting her to call. Today 2 generic responses. She just sticks with I will be not calling and only corresponding through email or US postal mail. She also attaches her original letter each time. Also saving all emails.
She also got a generic response from Plain Green, well, they said they received the email and it was being forwarded and someone would contact her shortly.

Just keep waiting and resending emails. Don't call. In the email I got from Mobiloans they stated to respond to the email and that would constitute agreement. I did that and told them in the reply that I would mail them a usps money order on or before the 15th of each month in the amount we agreed on and they should allow 5 days for delivery. Haven't gotten another response so I'll just wait and see.
Just so you know your lenders
Just so you know your lenders are on the list of illegal lenders that have been blocked by the national ach clearing house and national banks from accessing customer accounts. They have bigger problems right now...lol. I wouldn't stress about it too much. If they want your money they will eventually contact you about it.
So far this week she has sent
So far this week she has sent Mobiloans two emails and got back two generic responses. I think she sent Plain Green two and Great Plains one. Plain Green responded both time the received the email and someone would be in contact. I think the same for Great Plains.
So she should wait and maybe send another at the beginning of next week?
Yep, wait and send emails at
Yep, wait and send emails at least once a week....eventually they will respond. If not, their loss.
I'm not. I figured they had
I'm not. I figured they had so much going on & people catching on the this, they are trying to figure what to do next.
re:How to proceed with Mobiloans
I sent the same letter and received the same response after sending the letter three times. Have you heard from them since?
Update on Plain Green
Mom just received this response from Plain Green. Should she respond about the Tribal Laws & reporting to the credit places??

I had the same situation with
I had the same situation with Plain Green - I had had two loans with them - I totaled the amount borrowed - subtracted out what i had already paid and gave them this notice that they owed me a refund, but I would settle on a PIF- I eventually sent them this email in Dec of Last year and have not heard from them since, other than the generic response so I know they got this:
"Dear Plain Green,
Do yourself a favor and mark my account paid in full. I am not paying you another cent - you owe me a refund of $1002.89, that I have paid on my loans with you. If you charge me off to collections I will not hesitate to not only cease and desist them, but make them aware that I informed you I am aware of the illegality of the debt and the fact that I will not be paying any remaining balance and that you in fact owe me a refund again for $1002.89. Cut the crap and save yourself the time.
You lost this one, I know that you are illegal to loan in the state I live in.
Love,
Your past customer"
As long as your bank account is secure from them, don't let them bother you at all..
She does owe them 419 and
She does owe them 419 and change so they took her offer. She actually had 4 payments of less. They are offering 3 payments of just a little more. And monthly. That was quick. Still haven't heard from Mobiloans and Great Plain.
But she had another loan with
But she had another loan with them, so no she doesn't still owe.. and even if she did - she is in control of how to pay it back.. not them.. she decides the payment schedule that works for her.. If this works for you and you don't mind that you have already over paid them on the other loan, well that is up to you, I would make them take the over payment into consideration and send you a PIF, not continue to pay them more. I am sure she could use the $419 for something else.. :)
She has a loan with plain
She has a loan with plain green for 800. She has one with Great Plains for 800.00. Mobiloans was 600. Mobiloans she has 35.00 left on principal.
With Plain Green She has only made 3 payments of 126 and change. So that leaves her owing 419 on the principal. Am I wrong?
When I said she had 4
When I said she had 4 payments. I meant and I'm sorry I wasn't clear. She offered to pay the last of the principal in 4 payments. That was in her letter to them. She made her terms in 4 payments. They made the offer for the last to be in 3 payments. I'm so sorry if I confused you. Of course she will make it known she is in charge and on her terms. :)
We haven't heard from
We haven't heard from Mobiloans. I'm sorry I included all 3 in the Mobiloans thread. I'm sorry.
No! my confusion - you are
No! my confusion - you are right .. I got you confused with someone else - I thought she had another loan with them that she had paid off already. - but if she can only pay in 4 payments instead of 3 payments - push for that.. she is still in control...
Oh okay! I thought maybe it
Oh okay! I thought maybe it was me telling of her three loans.
No problem! Oh we will for sure. Thanks!
Mobiloans & Plain Green
I had pdl's w/Mobiloans & Plain. Placed a permanent ACH hold via my bank. Drafted a letter using info found at this site and my own research. I live in PA and PDLs are illegal. Then when they couldn't access my bank account I got the typical and same email messages described in this forum. My response was: Dear Lender, Please see attached pdf file. I had to resend the letter, but eventually, they settled with me. Mobiloans offered me an am't less than I had proposed and I requested a refund from Plain Green who closed my account but I'll never see a refund. Paid mobiloans with a prepaid debit card. Just glad to be done with them. Both called me at work, but I told them to put any matters related to my account in writing; no comment, good-bye. Right now I'm working on my last lender, mypayloan.com. These people are awful!! But, I will continue to fight w/them.
I hope you did ACH revocation
I hope you did ACH revocation with each of the lenders which the law requires and then provide a copy to of each revocation to your bank.
