First Direct Mediation/Plain Green Loans
First Direct Mediation is now calling me and wanting additional money on this account. Call was the same threatening one. Received a generic email stating the amount. I explained that the loan was paid last year and he said I still owed $2500 more. What should I do?

There is no way the debt collection company can harass you. You are protected under the FDCPA law.
My suggestion is to consult an attorney or law firm regarding what can be your next step. The attorney has the power to send a cease-and-desist letter that can stop the threatening calls.
