too many payday loans
re: too many payday loans
I know what you are going through. Since taking out more than 8 payday loans (pdl's) between Sept '06 & Jan '07 I have been in more financial ruin than I started out in. I've sold belongings to get gas & grocery money, received help from the local food pantry, and received help to pay my car payment one month. I'm a low paid single mom, but not too low that I cannot usually take care of my child. I had made a poor choice of moving into a great rental condo that I really couldn't afford, and took out ONE loan to help one month........of course it snowballed from there! During the time that I was taking out the darned loans, I moved into a rental townhouse apt that I can actually afford, and am VERY SLOWLY recovering.
Dalava, take heart in that this terrible drama will end eventually. Read postings on this website for great tips & help on getting your pdl's paid off (but only paying the loan amount plus original loan fee, not the sky-high charges that accrue). You'll get there, I promise!

Welcome to the Community dalava :D Beth is right, you aren't alone, alot of us fell into that trap. It takes some time and effort, but you can get out of the cycle. If you will tell us: What state you are in-Who the loans are through and how much you borrowes and paid back, and aslo if these are store front or internet loans, we can direct you in the right directio. If these are store front loans, try tomake some arrangements with them, as they usually follow state laws and tend to sue, internet loans are another story! Hang in there, this can be done!!..KAren
