NetPDL

I am just wondering if netpdl.com is legal in indiana. I took out a $200 loan, and have already paid close to $300 of it back. I notice each payment only goes in to interest ($79.00) while I am charged $158 each time . I want to be done with this, and I am thinking they are not legal. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

I don't know the physical address, i doubt they have this company is terrible. I want to leave comments in as many forums as possible to warn people so they do not make the same mistake. I called to repay my loan for teh full amount and they refused to except the payment saying i was supposed to called three days before the loan is due to tell them you will be paying. 3 things first of all the women on the phone who orginally arroved the loan told me i wouldnt have to do anything, when thte loan was due they would take the money straght from my account. This is not true if you dont call three business days before the payment is due to tell them youre paying they extend you loan automatically to your next payday and tack on an extra $79.00 now im paying back $358.00 for $200 loan. on top of that they sale all your personally information to dozens of companies . you suddenly are getting calls all hours of the day and noght form telemarketers. Oh and about 20 -30 emails a day. If they sale all you personal information who knows who they are selling your social, address, or bank info. Lastly to make matters worst afer the intial phone call to approve you, no one will ever answer the 1-888 number to help you. you call over and pver wait for 30 mins and get sent to voicemail. So all complaints and conversations have to occur through a customer service ticket system. They are rude, you never know if you are speaking to manager or not and they called me a lier and told me to check my contract because everything is legal. Which is totally misleading and sad. I have documented the entire conversation, if anyone is interested in doing business with this company DONT you will regret. times may seem hard and you think its worth it but its not. settle for the late rent fee or rice for dinner until your next payday they will take advantage of you and rip you off.

You need to go to your state's department of financial regulation to determine if they are licensed. If not, then they are illegal and you are only morally responsible for paying back the original principal amount borrowed. In your case, you have overpaid. If illegal, click on Forums, then click on paydayloan help, then click on sticky on how to deal with unlicensed lenders. Follow every step, do not skip and register with the forum.

They are not legal because they are NOT following state law nor are they licensed. Your local check cashier is operating under state law. FYI...rollovers are not permitted in Indiana...and they are probably charging more than the allowable interest rate. So yes, there is a HUGE difference between Netpdl and the place you walk into.

I called to have my loan paid off. Then my pay date I setup for payoff, instead of one payment they put in three different transactions. One saying their name and two with names I didnt know. I had my bank stop payment on the two I didnt know and now I was just charged $62 more.I called and they said cause I didnt pay the two I didnt know which apparently were them - I now have to request another payoff and pay another $225. When I told the lady it was bull $#@! And I was closing my account she started yelling and then said they would keep calling and even call my work till they got there money. If they call my work I will loose my job (strict phone policy). What to do?

Do anyone know how much they will charge you on a 200.00 loan. Already I've paid 195.00 interest. Do I need to close this checking account? And do anyone know another contact number?

What state are you from, name of lender and the original principal amount borrowed? Answer these and we can help you further. Normally, it is $30.00 per $100.00 borrowed depending on lender.

Iam confused on what the problem is. I did a loan with netpdl and it was for200 n yes if you don't pay it back in full within2weeks of course they are going to charge you did you think they weren't? Why aren't they legal? If you go to a cash advance place they do the same thing u get a loan for200 n you pay back230 and if you don't pay it back they hit your account n you get stuck with bank charges so tell me the differences? Quit crying and pay the loan back in full and they next day reloan what's so hard about that?one more time netpdl is no different than a store you walk into for a cash advance.

I have paid 900 on a 200 loan... No end in sight... I now have to close my bank account and deal with whatever crap they send my way. This is an evil company who steals from the poor.... Never use them, ever... I dont care what it is for...

I have a $200 loan from them and haven't paid anything back. A few days after I got that loan is when the spam phone calls and email started coming and when my back account was hit for two $30 charges from companies I never heard of. I closed my account and then that's when I came here and realized all the loans I had were illegal. I sent them my revoke authorization and advised they were illegal. I have not heard a word so far.

We have a client who borrowed $200.00. Since then they've deducted $55.00 per week from her account, which so far is $1,760.00. They told her she still owes over $300.00. On a $200.00 loan, I don't think so. This place needs to be shut down.

i would hope that she has closed her bank account to prevent further deductions. There is a link on how to deal with unlicensed lenders on this site.
