Cashcall

This forum has given me very valuable information on PDL's. Now..I have a 'tough' question. I recieved from a company called Cash Call. They are based in California. I live in PA. Cash Call chargers nearly %99. Obviously, I couldn't afford the payments. PDL's don't appear on credit reports, but, Cash Call is on mine. I don't think they are 'legit' because of all the % they charge. Any advice from 'you wonderful people'?

Thanks for the advice. I'll do that. Cash Call is the only 'big' deliquent account, I have, on my credit. I'm sure I can find some info on how to deal with them.

I've read some ugly stuff about them. But like stated above, they are legal (unfortunately). Keep us updated on how you're doing with them.

The 'thing', that bothers me, is......there are several people that have tried to deal with CashCall ( as I have ssen on this forum, anyway) and, obviously these people are having no success. I've done SOME research..I've called different consolidation comapnies, etc, and from what I am being told, " Cash Call cannot be touched." So.if ANYONE out there finds any info, please let me know. My 'Quick Messages' aren't working correctly, so, please PM me. Thanks.

I would love to see a class action suit against this company, but I don't know what it would be for. Federal law allows banks to export their home states interest rate laws to any state they are operating in. Which is how Cash Call gets away with the ridiculously high interest rates. But if there was a suit going on that would be great. These kind of places need to be put out of business.

How can they be 'legal', with all of that high % they charge? Gosh!! I wish I never got invovled with them. But....I am getting some good ideas, on how to deal with them, from different posts I've read. Thanks everyone.

I think that complaints should be made against First Bank of Delaware period because they are literally raping people everywhere with their fees and they get away scott free. I don't know how they can sleep at night with charging the amount of interest they charge and they are COMPLETELY unwilling to bend and make exceptions if hardships occur.

Cashcall isnt a payday loan, did you sign a contract? Yeah I thought so. Maybe next time you should read the contract you sign, and see its a monthly pmt and not a PDL. You think cashcall isnt "legit" I bet the money that was deposited wasnt legit either, and im sure you didnt that that Cashcall wasnt legit while you were spending their money, right. Sounds like you need to take responsability and learn how to read a contract or get someone who knows how to read tell you that its not a PDL.. My advice to you is that you get a lawyer and find out whats going to happen to you!

My advice to you is to read the entire thread before you post negative comments. Most of the members here know that Cash Call is not a pay day loan and if you read any of the threads concerning this company, you will find that we are quick to advise people posting that they are not a pdl, they are in fact a loan company that is licensed and legal and in many cases backed by the First Bank of Deleware. We also advise that the poster continue payments or attempt to work with the company and should they decide to default they can face collections and/or legal action.
