payday loan hell

Hi welcome to the forums! There are a couple I have heard of out there but they are few. Maybe someone will know a couple names. In the meantime would you tell us who the loans are with. How much you borrowed from each one. How much you have paid each one so far. Also are they storefront of internet! You will probablt y have to close your checking account and get your employer to cut you a live check for a while. Check your banks policy on ACH withdrawals before you do, however because some banks will force you account back open and you will wind up owing them money also.

Also what state do you live in?

Hi Aj. Welcome. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Lots of us here fell into the same trap. It isn't easy to get out, but boy does it feel good when you are free. I know that for me, the second I closed my bank account and opened another one, I felt like the world had been lifted from my shoulders. Also, the process to get out happened fairly quickly for me. Hopefully it will for you, too. :-)

I have thirteen out to be exact. 5 of which are internet and the other 8 are store front. I have a total of about $7900 in payday loan debt. I have not a clue how much I have already paid in extension fees etc. I just want to find a legal way out. I can't handle the stress anymore. I am hoping that if I can get them consolidated they won't charge my account and I can just get them paid off. Any suggestions

Her are the laws for your State. It appears that the internet ones are illegal because they are not check cashers. You will have to try to make arrangments with the storefronts. Hopefully someone will know of a consolidation company that will deal with them.

Who are the online ones, how much did you borrow from each one and how much have you paid each one so far! You state puts an interest cap on these type of loans. If you provide the info we can tell you what to do to help you.

all of them are for $300 except for the world wide cash it is $200 and the first bank of delewar was for 1150. I have paid 244.04 to the first bank of deleward however I have not paid anything on any of the others yet they are not due until the 31st. I am wanting to try and get this all resolved before then. Do you see that happening?

AJ, I know how you feel and how you got there, I used to live in SLC, UT and at one time I had abt 15-20 loans, and one day I realized that I didn't make enough money to make the extension fees. None of them were from the internet, so I called every one of them and set up payments that were lower than the extension fees and eventially paid them off, I was able to pay each of them $10 each payday until they were all paid off. It took awhile...but it was soooo nice when they were paid off!!
Most of the loan places were really nice and willing to work with me, they understood that it was better to get a little bit of money to pay them off than nothing at all...like if I was to file bankrupsy.

i recently took out a pay day loan .i have no job and looking to work real soon. i feel bad about it because if im not working by the time to pay then whats next? i think there just trouble for you and i . :?

Is that the only one you have? Who is the lender?

If you want to settle of consolidate your payday loans, try town and country acceptance in birmingham,al. I know that they work with people all across the country, but not every state, but its worth a try cuz they truly are life savers. They have saved me from the vicious circle of payday loan hell.

I know exactly how you feel.

I have 4 payday loans out all are form the internet except 1. 2 of them are now in collections and the other two have been coming out of my account. I have stopped my direct deposit and got a new account. I am not sure what my next step should be. Should I contact them and make arrangements, or should I contact the bank and stop them from taking money out??

Internet - Geneva Roth (cash america) $400 Borrowed Fee $120 every 2 weeks no idea how much I have already paid in fees
Internet - Cash net USA Do not remember it is in collections they are trying to collect a little over $1000.00 ( I know I did not borrow that much) No idea how much I have already paid them in fees.
Internet - JHS Marketing $250 borrowed $75.00 fee every 2 weeks no idea how much I have paid in fees
Store - Advance American or something like that this is in collection I do not remember what they are trying to collect.

have I payday loans out in the internet and store front. I need out what can I do, I can not do it any more my all paycheck go to them. and more where I have to pay back the bank for NSF.

I have 3 and we just had to close our account and i am so afraid we will be going to jain i am in iowa and they havebeen renewing every other week for 8-10 weeks...I cant get out of cycle. Instant Cash,Star Cash Processing and Payday loan Yes, all for 300 each....I don't know what state THEY are in so I think they can prosicute me if they allow in their state?
