If they are threatening you with arrest, jail time, etc., please disregard it. They cannot arrest you or put you in jail for defaulting on a payday loan.
Go to paydayloaninfo.org to find the payday law in your state. That page will list the governing body in your state that regulates payday lenders. Based on the allowable interest shown on your state's payday law on that site, figure out if you have already paid back the principal on the loan, plus the allowed interest for your state.
Then go to your state government's website (usually your state's name.gov - like www.michigan.gov). Look for a link to the governing body you need to contact to complain about the lender. It's going to be the State's Attorney General, Department of Finance, or something like that. File a complaint immediately if you have overpaid the loan and they are still threatening and harrassing you.
Also, go to your bank on Monday, and talk to the manager. If you have already overpaid this loan, discuss the issue with the manager and ask them to close your bank account and open a new one, so you can regain control of your money. Just stopping payment on this company probably won't work, because the internet PDL companies are famous for debiting your account under another name if you block the original one.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have more questions. :D
