I Am Still Around.

If anyone noticed I have been off for a while except for a couple times to remove spam and maybe answer a question. We moved from Florida back to NJ and we were living in an extended stay for two months eating Chinese take out and whatever I could microwave. If I see anymore packaged Ramen soup I am going to hurl. I have been paying my way by freelance writing SEO and a couple websites and my wife has been doing customer service telecommuting. I am also in the Solar business but that is a slow go. If I get one of my pending projects my life will change, but for now it is day to day, hand to mouth.
We found a rental condo nearby in Ocean County and as I write I am sitting on a fold up lawn chair and have my laptop on the box that the inflatable mattress came in. All our furnture is still in Florida in storage. Pretty dismal picture huh? Not really, it has actually improved. I learned through being unemployed that there are ways to make money if you look hard enough and have faith. The internet has created a demand for writers that was not there in my Smith Corona writing days. Back then it was Mags, TV, Newpapers or Advertising and that was about it. It was extremely competetive. Now anyone who can spell and write in English (sort of) can get a job.
Anyway, thing are getting better, we dodged homelessness and we are on our way back. Patton once said "I do not judge a man by how high he climbs, but by how high he bounces when he hits bottom." Watch me bounce. For now I will be around in the background and helping out when I can. Today I am getting paid to write someones bio for their website so I gotta go. ATB to all.
