So I was deleting some Russian spam...


Logged in this morning, and checked the report-a-spam thread first thing, like always. Found that MarkOfKane had reported some Russian spam in one of the threads, so I headed over to take care of it.

This is what was there:

Well, my Russian's not what it once was, but something didn't look right to me. So... Zap! Deleted it. Then I ran it through BabelFish, which is something I'd been meaning to do. The block of Russian text above translates to this:

Now, about this time, some of y'all are likely wondering: What in the hell is that demented, old Wulf up to now? Why did he go to the trouble??

I deleted in Russian, bassed on recognizing a few words, and the overall 'look and feel' of this particular bot-post.

I printed [posted] it here in English primarily for your amusement, Frog. You were musing a few days ago in one thread or another to the effect of 'wonder where these spammers come from with these weird languages.' Just trying to promote understanding, bud... :lol:
