First find out whether all these companies are a licensed business in your state. Then only you will figure out whether they are adding legal charges on your account and that they are legit. You will get the info from the Dept of Corp of your state.

Go to paydayloaninfo.org and click on "state information", then click on Michigan on the map that comes up. When the Michigan law comes up, click on "licensee database" to find out if any of these companies are licensed in Michigan. I doubt that they are.
If you calculate (according to the interest rate shown in Michigan's PDL Law) that you have overpaid these loans, you need to first complain to the State's Attorney General (Mike Cox, in your case - there's a link on the paydayloaninfo.org website), then start writing letters to these companies asking to be marked paid in full - and quote the Michigan law to back it up. Send the letters by USPS mail, certified/return receipt requested, so they have to sign for them, and you'll know they received them.
Also, you may have to close your bank account to regain control of your money. These companies will not stop debiting your account, even if you ask them to. If you try to block ACH debits from them, they'll simply change their name, change the dollar amount, or break the debit into two or three debits in order to hit your account yet again. It's also not beneath them to pass a fake "paper" check through your account in order to get the money. Check with your bank first, but closing your account may be the only way.
Illegal
I can see just from glancing real quick that four of them will not be licensed. You need to check on your state to see if they are. But I can almost promise you that none of them will be. However, check to be positive. As stated in the above post, you will need to close your bank account. These guys are nasty, nasty. They will debit you even though you've revoked their priviledge. Hell, they're already doing business illegally - so why stop now? You do need to; however, check with your bank. Some of us "thought" our accounts were closed; however, the pdl debits were pending and went through forcing the account back open. Ta-da! The pdl's got their money and now you're checking account is in the negative and the bank will start adding their fees on. Ugly! If you can not completely close your bank account for whatever reason, you need to put a hard debit block on it. That means NO debits will go through. No ACH debits, no electronic checks, no paper checks. However, it's a pain because you also can't use it. Your ATM card won't work, if you want money, you have to go into the bank and get it, etc. So, it's best to close the whole thing. But be sure that it will not "re-open". These guys will debit you every single week forever and ever. Have you sent letters to these pdl's revoking their privilidge of debiting your account, revoking any wage assignment you may have signed with them? If not, do it immediately. I can tell you, they won't pay attention. They will continue to debit, but you need documentation that you told them to STOP. You need to regain control of your money. They will suck you dry. Get your bank account taken care of ASAP. Then you can send out your pdl letters. And, of course, you need to file complaints against these companies. Any questions, please post and we'll be glad to advise!

I would try at dealing with them yourself if money is that tight . . . . . You can do it just as well as a company. As long as you have some time, you can do it yourself.

I agree with goudah. You can do it by yourself. It looks like you have more than paid your debt to loanstore and paydayok. In fact, they should be giving you a refund!
Please listen to cannr. Get your bank account closed so that you can regain control of your paycheck!

Hang on! Have you done nothing with your bank account yet? These pdl's are still debiting? I'm telling you, you are dealing with illegal companies. You can do whatever you like regarding contacting a company to handle the pdl's for you or handling them yourself. I know I chose to handle them myself because I did not have the money to pay someone to do it for me. You can do this on your own; however, if you're more comfortable with going with a company, that's fine. However, you stated that money is tight. You need to stop letting these pdl's debit your account. That's where all your money is going. Please, please do something about that bank account. Please post as to where you stand right now. Are they still debiting? We can help you here.
