Hi Roseanne. Welcome to the forum. I've not heard of that company but someone might come along who has. My question to you, however, is why pay someone else to do something you can do yourself?

Settlement survival program is a support system. You work with a debt stategy coach who guides you, hands on supposedly, through the process. Supplying any letters I need, review letters I receive etc... They charge an up front fee of $197 and 25 per month for as long as you want/need the help. No contracts. Before I spend the money I was hoping someone knew enough about it to help me make a better decision.

Save your money. Follow the good advice on this site. No one can handle your financial matters better than you. Also, you'll always know what's happening with your accounts instead of waiting to hear from a third party.

Roseanne,
I suggest you save that money and do it yourself. You can settle all of your accounts on your own for free. There are a lot of resources available to you on this site as well as support and good advice from a number of people.

Here's my two cents worth.
Do it yourself with a little bit of help from your friends (in here of course).
It can be done!

Welcome to the forum. I am new too, and just starting the process. We have decided to go it alone. I am amazed at the wealth of information that is on this site. I am feeling more and more comfortable each day with the idea of handling the creditors on our own all because of the forum. We decided that if push comes to shove and all does not go well then we can look into going with someone, but why not give it a go on our own and save the money. Another thing that is proving to be really helpful for me is I have started a blog. I am not necessarily advertising it or anything like that and have not attached my real name to it. But it is just a place where I can go and log my personal experience so far and it helps me kind of work things out in my own brain. So much of this can be overwhelming and you can only talk about it so much with your spouse with out driving each other crazy. So blogging it and been kind of my "outlet" so to speak and I hope maybe if we are successful that it may help someone else down the road. But this sight is where it is at...we all can do this...we just need to support each other!!! Good luck
