You have been scammed. You can't be arrested or put into the jail for non-repayment of debt. It is a civil offense. You should have made the payment after validating the debt. They are trying to scare you again. Make a written request to them for a debt validation letter. If they don't validate the debt, then send a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail to them. Check your credit report to find out the loans on which you have defaulted.

I have checked my credit report none r on it. Im lost as to what to do i have no clue who the other two lenders r.

1)file a police report as the idiot broke the law with talk of arrest.
2)got www.ftc.gov and use any info.the number he gave or that came up on caller id. to file a bunch of complaints.the more complaints the better.
3)inform everyone at your work,especially your boss that this waste of oxygen might call.tell them to hang up on him.you do the same.

how can i find out what payday lenders i had in 2008 to 2009. i dont have the checking account with that bank that i used then and i dont have the email address either please help

vi really need someone to help me i keep getting calls from these indian souding men saying i owe cash advance or cash net america they change up the companys and the phone numbers were they call me from. they say if i dont pay now they will have me arrested for check fraud and other charges. i called loan shop online which is one of the payday lenders i owe and have set up arrangements with them and i also called fastmoney911.com and set up arrangement with them. those r the only two i can remeber that i never got paid back. what can i do to get this took care of i have contacted ftc and better business buruea. i feel like im at a loss here i still owe beacon and cashnetusa by the time i pay all these every payday i dont have money for my other bills

quit giving a scam in INDIA that illegaly threatens the time of day.stop stressing,filea police report,and hang up when he calls okay?there is nothing legit about this and you are paying 3 plus year old loans,and illegal ones at that because he's stressing.you given advice above use it.you filed ftc complaints.now hang up in his face as every threat is illegal,and every loan you mentioned is too.do that and stop worrying.can you do that?

They are going to keep calling you until the original PDL tells them to stop, sorry. You need to find out if your PDL was legal, or illegal in your state. If it was illegal, all you owe is the principal (what you actually got when you took out the loan). I would also figure out how much you actually paid them with rollovers, etc and deduct that from the loan.
They are also just blowing smoke you know where with these threats. File police and FTC reports and be sure and tell them the next time you are called that you have done so. I had to do this with PDL collectors who called me on THANKSGIVING (!!!) one year and the calls stopped.
