You can qualify for underemployment benefits depending upon the state in which you reside. There are several state programs for helping full-time workers with reduced hours. Several states offer work-share programs to cover the difference between what employees used to earn earlier and what they are earning now (after working hours have been reduced by around 10%-40%. Check out whether or not your state offers such kind of program.
