Can you please help me with a place from where I can purchase money orders? Will it get reflected in my bank statement?

Money order is a method of prepaid payment. It is one of the safe alternatives for paying or sending money to a person.

It is the oldest form of prepaid payment but still exists in the US. You can buy money orders at financial institutions, post offices, check-cashing locations (The Western Union and MoneyGram), and retail stores (Wal-Mart and CVS).

Money orders are available $0.70-$2.

You can buy money orders with debit cards, cash and credit cards. However, your credit card issuer may charge you extra for buying money orders with a credit card.

Since money orders are not part of your bank account, it won't show on the statement.
