So about 2 months ago, I had enough of running away from creditors calling me and asking for payment. I decided to contact someone about my situation.

Hess Kennedy is who I decided to go with. I owe $12,000 to various creditors and went with their debt settlement plan (which works for me because I have mortgage payments, etc.). They told me all I had to do was pay some $6000 and all will be taken care of.

They have already withdrawn $600 (soon to be $775) from my account and I have read everything that everyone has said about HK on this board and now I am very scared and very sick to my stomach.

My husband encouraged me to get a hold of HK and ask for something in writing saying that all my creditors will be paid off. I have heard nothing. I now have more creditors calling me.

My questions are:
1) has anyone had a good experience with this company?
2) what do I do now? I can not afford to walk away from nearly $1000 I have put into this (which would have paid off one of my debts)

I'm so sorry to hear you got hooked up with this company. Please do a search using the Google search bar on this page on "hess kennedy" to learn more - there are MANY reports on this site about that company. We often hear from their "employees" about how their program works, and that people coming here to complain are not giving it enough time to work the way it should. However, we've had so many negative reports from consumers that have used the program (and for varying lengths of time)....seeing that many negative reports from consumers should raise a red flag in anyone's mind.
