I believe that negative marks (such as late payments) will stay on your Credit report even if your have a paid in full. Each state has a time frame they go by, before they will drop off. Please tell us what State you are in and someone will be along with the correct information. I think that you can post a statement on your credit report to explain.

The contact info should be listed on your credit report.Send them a good will gesture letter asking for removal of lates.

I did not know that you could ask for removal of lates. That is certainly good information for me. You are the best!

They are not required to,but you can ask for anything to be removed by a creditor.

I apply for a sears/cbsd card and never heard any thing from them this was in 2007 and in 2009 decided to check my credit report and see that It's on my credit report but i never recieved the card.what can i do to get the sears card because i didn't know i had it.

I would think that you could just call them and give them your info and ask for new a card. Explan that you never received a card and make sure there are no charges to it. Just in case it fell into some elses hands

sorry mommm====I would think that cajun response is VERY OLD would not apply to the current credit market I think you would need to re apply and see if they will still honor the credit limit?
