MCI harrassment

MCI have been calling me for the past 6 months telling me that I owe them money. I have never had their service. They did the same thing 4 years ago, and they eventually stopped, now it is getting worst, I am sick and tired of the rude collection agent. They want me to call MCI customer service. I emailed them several times, not a response. What can I do? Where can I report this? Do I have a good case if I get a lawyer?

Have you tried asking for validation. You may also need to send a cease & desist letter. Pull your credit report and see if they're reporting. If they are, dispute the debt with the credit bureaus. The creditor will have to show proof, and that will be mailed to you. From there, you can dispute the items presented. Do you have proof the said debt doesn't belong to you?

MCI

You will need to send MCI a debt verification letter along with a cease and desist letter. Get as much information from the collecter you can, like reference or account numbers and an address to send these letter to. You can use my templates on my blog for these letters. keep us posted and let us know what is going on.
