anybody ever deal with apothaker and associates? They just called, left message, said to call them. No 'we are debt collector, any info collected will be used for that purpose' no letter in mail. Is this a fdcpa violation, and who can I call to sue them? I will not call them back, unless somebody advises me too.

I've had the honor of dealing with Apothaker. What state are they cruising in now?

Give me some details of where you are. Do you have any idea of who they maybe collecting for?

Mine was Providian.

I'm going out until late this afternoon but will be here all weekend and will gladly help.

What state are you in. Is this David J. Apothaker. Just google Apothaker & Associates. There are cases pending in Federal Court in PA and they all have to do with violations.

I wish I could get to read some of those case dockets, it appears that Mr. Apothaker has a bit of a problem.

With me, well he sent my summons to my 85 year old mother in law's address in NJ. If my husband didn't go to visit, this crumb would have received his default judgement because I didn't answer. I have been a resident of the Commonwealth of PA for three years!

I'm still livid. Fill us in with as much info as you can give us.

What phone number are they telling you to call?
This will tell me a lot!

Moki
