Apparently the Creditors Interchange called her "looking for me" they said they had a "case number".
My grandmother is freaking out. That has to be against the law. I am going to sue them.

I'm thinking that proving the call before allowable time frame should be easy. Proving third party disclosure/false threats/etc...would not be so easy, unless your grandmother recorded the call.

Then there is the burden of proof. A CA will vigorously defend itself...and if all a consumer has is an allegation, the case (if it even gets to court) is usually dismissed.
