Has anyone dealt with a nice person in ACS? If so can I get that person name? I want to settle the account if they can offer me 60-70% off the original. I tried to contact citi but everyone said they cant help me and that i need to speak with ACS.

Are you trying to settle for 60-70% of the debt, or are you trying to settle for 60-70% off the debt (paying 30-40% of the original debt)? If the account has been assigned to a collection agency, but not sold, then the latter will likely not be possible. collection agencies that work under a contract with the original creditor are given strict guidelines that they must adhere to when making a settlement offers.
