Does anyone know anything about this place from Malta?

All those IPDLs are owned by E-Care. The company was run out of Malta, and it is now based in Canada. The company is probably not far from being

If Lisa Burton is the person that I have heard about, she is a complete nutjob. She treats her employees and customers with zero respect.

But from what I have gathered from talking to folks in the industry and reading the forums here, is that the difference between E-Care and most of the other IPDLs, is that E-Care will actually make good on all of their threats. Most of the others are just blowhards, and most of your trauma will come once it is sent to a third party CA.

I believe that CashNet500/Global Payday/Payday-Loans-Yes, et al outfit, are not licensed anywhere.

They are shady as all get out.

In the past Pinion collected on their accounts, but now they do a lot of in-house collection before selling the debt.

I will go look for your other post to see what specific information you were looking for.

Thanks Doug! :) Keep the good information coming.

CTC/Sonic/etc. is a nightmare to deal with. Between them and Cash Today, (Who it seems like all of us who have got lost in the trap all seem to get sucked into, which makes me wonder if they PLAN this...Conspirity like "Look, this person is on your companies list--Let us give them a loan too, and we'll share profits, etc...I dunno, I'm probably just being weird, and I haven't had my caffeine yet this morning.) they all make your life a BIG headache.

What do you mean by, they will make good on their threats? Are you talking about they will enforce the wage assignment that they threatened everybody with?

brownsugar...Basically Ecare is one of the only companies with the balls enough to actually send the wage assignment to your employer. It's up to your employer though, from what I understand to honor it because they are voluntary, unlike a garnishment. That's why it's important to send the wage assignement revokation to both them and your employer.

If only I had known  But, I'm here now and I got my letters for my last 3 PDLs. I'm glad for the support too. It made me really examine my financial history and the ACH payments. I made an important discovery. I have a PDL (licensed in my state) who is harrassing me for payment in settlement of the debt. They took the payment out of my account in September and are trying to collect on it again. I'm so glad I found this community.

Remember, even though wage assignments are perfectly legal, it is your right to rescind them as of 1986, unless they are court ordered...Yes, there are indeed court ordered assignments, much different from a garnishment.

One thing though..If you are afraid that more than one company will use an assignment, use a blanket letter of defense for your payroll dept. Make sure you say That you "revoke any and all voluntary deductions". If you have any other voluntary deductions that you want..Such as profit sharing or 401k, make sure you exclude that. If you have any questions about payroll defense letters, I'd be glad to help, please pm me.

I doubt if they'll be able to locate where you new place of employment is, unless you have recently applied for a new Internet payday loan recently and listed your most recent place of employment on the application, then there is a possibility they could find out, because pdl's seem to share information.
