As per the federal laws, the rule is applicable only on third party collection agencies. This doesn't work on a creditor or an internal collection dept of the creditor. They are not required to follow any of the laws put in the fdcpa.
Besides in the letter section, find one letter in this link too. Send your letter through certified mail with return receipt requested.

No legal laws can be forced on the payday lender to stop calling you. But you can always put a request in writing and keep yourself upfront so that they don't start harassing you.

The payday people called me so much at work I thought it would never stop. After the complaints were filed with AG they stopped because they knew they were illegal and they owed me money. I overpaid every one of them. Good Luck KYSIDE38
