Cashnet 500 - doing business under any other names?

Does anyone know whether Cashnet 500 is in any way affiliated with Cashnet Financial Group, Inc. of Plano TX? or if they have any other name under which they do business? I am a Mass resident and am trying to determine whether or not they are licensed to do business in Mass before I send my settlement letter.

There are some posts on CashNet500 telling about people's experiences with the company. Have a look

Go the Massachusetts Division of Banks website where you find out whether this company is licensed to do business in your state. Internet lenders are not allowed to do payday loans in Mass. Only companies licensed under the small loan act can do business in the state.

I defaulted on my internet pdls and I retained Langhorne Law for debt settlement. I've been noticing in my emails that Global Payday is telling me I'm approved for a cash advance. I'm not falling for these because first of all I'm trying to get out of this mess and second of all I know Global Payday is one of Cashnet500's dba's. I guess they probably feel I would fall for their trick and give up my new banking info so they could start debiting my account again. Oh, by the way, Cashnet500 is one of the pdls I defaulted on.

Hello everyone,

Back in September I applied for various internet pdl's. I applied to CashNet 500 and was dealing with Kim. At the last minute I asked her not to process my application and that I was no longer interested in the loan. I have noticed over the past 4 weeks that a company called Payday Two was debiting my account $60 every 2 weeks. I learned on another posting on this site that Payday Two is a AKA name of CashNet 500. How do I request a refund of all the $60 payments they have taken without my permission?

You need to contact your bank and let them know that this was done without your authorization they should be able to assist you with getting your money redeposited into your account. Get your complaints in with the AG's office against this company. If they claim you have a loan with them, they better come up with a written contract.
