Pallino Recievables???

I just checked my credit through Trans Union because of a Bankruptcy I did last October and on there is a charge for $2636 that is placed for collection to another company and the original company is Pallino Receivables. It says that the account was opened 09/2005 and it was reported 8/2006. I have no idea what this is in refence to. I was wondering if I should contact them? If so by mail or phone? I think it may have been purchased from one of my debtors that was included in my bankruptcy. If so am I responsible to pay this off?? I also have 2 other accounts that were on my bankruptcy but are showing as placed for collections with a collections name as the creditor. Do I need to contact them as well?
Thank you

Yes, I would contact them to find out what on earth is going on. Be prepared for them to come out fighting though. If you went to the trouble of a bankruptcy, then all accounts should have been included (intentional failure to list a creditor could result in fines and or jail time as well as the Discharge order being rescinded) . Could the account have been under a different name that was included in the bankruptcy? IF it a totally different account then you will need to obtain proper validation of the account, and if it's validated make arrangements to pay it (You could check with your attorney to see if there is a way to amend the bankruptcy to include the debt, but once its discharged, I think its final and cannot be changed anymore).

AS for the other two that you KNOW were included, Call hem as well and explain the debt was discharged under the bankruptcy laws and find out what they need as proof and send that to them. IF they reported after the bankruptcy was dismissed, then you need to make certain they delete their reports.

I included all of the debtors that I had to my knowledge and the paperwork for them to do teh bankruptcy.I find it suspicious that this account was from 9/2005 when I was first starting my bankrupcty procedures. I think this is in refernce to an account from Spiegel that went into collections through the Law offices of Mitchell N Kay (that was included in my bankruptcy). What happens if they gave it to someone else once they were notified of the bankrupcty? Also, what should I ask for in order to get debt validation? I do not want to give my phone number. I am willing to give my address though. Should this be sufficient?
Thank You
