hello, I just received my JB robinson card in mail. I logged into my online account and the credit I was given is 1800$. does anyone have experience with shopping there? how soon can I see them reporting on my credit, to which bureaus? how long will they report without me buying anything? any other info or comment on this card are welcome! I am trying to build credit but not sure what to do exactly with JB to get the best out of it.

jb robinson is a jewelry store account card..i have this card also..i immediately bought a little diamond chip earrings and paid off the same month and left it alone....onec every six months i charged something under 100 bucks and paid it off within the month..they reported nicely on my credit file over the year..it helped me build my score up!!!

What is it supposed to report if you don't buy anything? It is not a credit card as typically understood, it is an offer for an extension of credit (which will not be *actually* extended until you make a purchase). $130 is not too bad of a price to help rebuild your credit....

I have had my JBR card for over a year nad hae never bought anyt

I have had my JBR card for over a year nad hae never bought anything there yet they still report monthy to all 3 CRA's. I also have a Kays and Jared which are Sterling Jewelers accoutns as well. I have never used Jared but have used Kays. All 3 report monthly regardless of whether I've used them or not. It's no diffrent than any other store card.
