Leaving college earlier, should I pay the loan?
I had taken federal loan while admission. Now if I drop the course, do I need to pay the loan back or it is forgiven?

Lloyd, student loans are rarely forgiven. And the borrower has to pass a bench mark for that. It's seldom written off in bankruptcy. Student loans have no SOL also.
But since you are unable to continue even half way, you might be exempted from repayment. Contact your college or your loan holder immediately to know what option you can get now.

I know it's a little late to advise, but for you to have your student loans refunded to the lender, you would have to formally withdraw from school. Your loans pay for your seat in the classrooms, and you can't just walk away and leave everything hanging.
