they sent me the validation back!

I need to know if National Enterprise Systems has license to work in California. They sent me back all the papers I have requested (supposedly), since I don’t know which documents they are supposed to send me. They are requesting that I pay the total of $3300 in full. This is a school loan I co-signed for my son. There is no way I can pay this amount in full and they have repeatedly refused to negotiate with me. Please help me as soon as possible since I have 30 days to respond to the documents they have sent me. Thank you for your help.

Collection agencies don't require to be licensed by the state in California.

Student loans are treated differently. Unfortunately, when you have co-signed for a student loan, you're responsible for paying it off. Student loans can't be treated like credit card debt.

Anyway, you haven't listed the documents that you have received in response to your DV letter. However, ideally the packet should contain.

- The original contract signed by you
- License details (if applicable) of the CA
- Itemized statement of the account
- Proof of the debt being within the legal sol

You and your son should have a copy of the prom note. However they will send it to you....and that is all you will get.

When you signed for the loan, both you and your son agreed to balance in full on demand upon default. They do not have to negotiate and they will sue the both of you. If you only owe $3300, beg or borrow the money....
