Please be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b) that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for "verification" or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above Title and Section. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Please provide me with the following: 1. What the money you say I owe is for 2. Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe 3. Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe 4. Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable 5. Identify the original creditor 6. Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account 7. Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state 8. Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent At this time I will also inform you that if your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the 3 major credit Bureaus (Equifax, Experion or TransUnion) this action might constitute fraud under both federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent, I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you for the following: 1. Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act-reporting inaccurate information 2. Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act-continuing collection activity on a debt which has not been validated Also during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel for suit. This includes listing of any information to credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact there is no provided proof that it is. REQUEST FOR CEASE AND DESIST OF CONTACT BY YOUR OFFICE: I would also like to request, in writing, no further contact, either in writing or telephone be made by your office to my home or to my place of employment, unless it is to provide validation or release of liability of the debt. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. It would be advisable that you assure that your records are in order before I am forced to take legal action. This is an attempt to correct your records; any information obtained shall be used for that purpose. Thank you, Signature Printed name |

O.k.!!I'm not in this alone. I have been attacked by this company and the rep today... Her name is Elizabeth P.(if that is really her name) they use false names, which is also against FDCA,as well as strongarm threats. Now they are using the "federal" offense attack. They collect for different companies, one also being FTR Processing(who is also known as Freedom National who is a federally funded loan company???? That is what I was told, yep. That this legal loanshark company is actually funded by the federal agency. Now, I was told because I did not finish paying off my disputed "PAYDAY ADVANCE"loan under the company of oneclickcash and/or Broadmore Loans, etc. This had been going on since 2006. I demanded to know who this debt was for EXACTLY... and I did not want to hear FTR or Freedom National. I did not get the money from them, I want to know EXACTLY which payday loan company this was for.... I had paid off all,but one. I told them I did not owe this, since they hit my account UNAUTHORIZED on the UNAUTHORIZED DATES. & they continued to tap my account on days that the money was not available. They hit my account at least 4 times in 2 different days and then again about 2 weeks later. Now they are demanding a settlement of $722.62 this is a one time today offer, and they are doing me a favor.... They finally told us that it was actually $2200+ I DON"T THINK SO. I never borrowed that kind of money,,,,,not from a payday advance.
The JP ASS o ciates company # is: 1 800-871-7730 I have an address if anyone needs it. They are out of Florida. FTR has 2 different states they are listed in.

He made 1 payment now they are saying that he need to make another payment of $282 or go to jail. Please advise about this situation if you have any idea.. If someone really went to jail for this

PDLs cannot arrest you- there is no debors prison. If this is a store front loan, your boyfriend needs to work payments out with them as they tend to follow the laws and tend to sue.
With very few exceptions, no one goes to jail for failing to pay
With very few exceptions, no one goes to jail for failing to pay a consumer debt. It just boggles my mind that this still goes on almost 30 years after the passage of the fdcpa.
If a consumer is threatened with jail, consult an attorney. If a PA or NJ resident is threatened with jail, I sure would like to know about that!

JAM is right. Tell your boyfriend to tell them, "go ahead, call the DA, have me arrested, do what you have to do..." If legal in your area, record these calls. They could be worth $1000 each to you, should you sue them.

dont send them any money, i also got calls to my work, home, cell phone. I had to look for another job because of the harrassment and they even fought over the phone with boss, so i was embarrassed. i contacted a local lawyer and he said they can not do anything to me, i also sent a letter to the Florida Attoney general and by my suprise they are actually in the process of being sued for alot of things that have to do with harrassment and wrong doing to consumers. If you google this company it will show the court papers and what is going on with this company. AGAIN DON"T PAY THEM
