These people called me contantly on my cell phone about 6 months ago even though I have no business with them. I finally managed to get hold of someone and told them to put me on the Do not call list and that they are calling my personal cell.

Now in the last week I have received 31 calls from them.

If you get calls, you need to call them during business hours and really harrass them back, write letters to the FCC and send copies to HSBC home mortgage. You can google and find all their contact info on the net.

This company does not repect the Do Not Disturb registry and is participating in illegal activities.

They have been calling here all day since 7:30 am and it is Christmas Eve..They do not speak when I answer the phone I believe it is a bit harassing and annoying. They have called 5 times absolutely ridiculous. Just speak for goodness sakes!

They are calling my business number, when I answer, they do not say anything. I say "hello" about 5 times and they just hang up. Really annoying and rude to call a business AND not even say anything.

HSBC. i have a smalll second mortgage with them. things went fine for years until a couple years ago i transposed a couple account numbers making an on line payment. the error was found less than 10 days from the date i made the error to them contacting me and getting it corrected. for over 6 months after this, every time i would log in to make a payment i was greeted with a message that my account was delinquent and i had been turned into a collection agency. i complained about it to a customer service rep and was told ""that's just how we do things." since that time they will begin calling me the day before or on the day the payment is due starting at 8 AM. my payment was due on Feb 28 and by 6 PM they had called me 11 times. when i tried to make an on line payment that day, i was unable to access their payment page but could access every other page. they have done this many times before to force a call to made and a telephone payment to be made. i tried again on 3/1 and was still blocked so i mailed the payment which has since cleared. they are STILL calling! today is 3/22 and i have had 6 calls from 8 AM until 11AM! since 2/28 i have been called 117 times by them starting at 8 AM and going until after 9 PM. now they are calling my cell phone for which i am not sure how they got that number. it's prepaid and i will not accept calls from them on it because i pay for incoming calls i accept. like others have commented, you pick up the phone and an automated voice will tell you to stay on the line. i just hang up and now have their number blocked via a full feature caller ID box. they are the worst company i have ever done business with and i am trying to find where to file a complaint against them.

Yes, they do, and they likely aren't even HSBC bvt an agent paid to do this for HSBC.

This 1-800 number, namely HSBC, is most likely a scam. Reasons why: for one, my father does business with them, and, upon speaking with them over the phone, they continuously asked him to make payments that were overdue; problem with this is companies that someone is indebted to will never request that you pay-by-phone. For two, when someone is indebted to a company, the company will send notices or warnings by mail, in which HSBC has not yet done so. And for three, my father's household does not pay his mortgage to HSBC. So why would we be indebted to them?

Even then, I have spoken to the telemarketer myself over the phone, and when I suggested that I would pay-by-mail, she rejected the idea and said it would arrive in 7-10 business days - being too long, despite the fact that they've been calling for three months straight. She also convinced me to pay over the phone, which a company you actually owe money to will never do.

Simply, it is a scam. You owe them nothing!
