reaffirming a car note

I listed on my bk that I intend to reaffirm my car note. I haven't done anything else with it and I get a packet from Weltman, Weinberg and Reis the other day with the reaffirmation paperwork. I've dealt with these bottomfeeders in the past so I'm a bit leery of dealing with them on this issue. Should I call the OC and see what's up or just do the paperwork or just ignore it? I've read a lot about reaffirming debts and most articles say not to do it but to just keep paying the note and the OC is usually happy with that. Thoughts?

that's what I thought, too. I've often read where people will redeem their car for what its worth rather than reaffirming the entire debt and while I don't plan to do this, it makes me wonder if WW&R would try to buy my car out from under me and make me pay them the balance. Don't know if its legal or not but if I were a creditor looking for a way to get paid, I'd try to negotiate with another creditor to get claim to the asset and then make the debtor be liable to me for the full amount. Since WW&R is one of my creditors, I'm afraid of dealing with them on anything having to do with this BK.
