Converting Chapter 13 to 7

My husband and I have been in Ch13 since last September, but we can no longer afford it. My health insurance at work has gone up almost $220 per month, and after bills, we don't even have enough money to feed ourselves. What I'm wondering is, is it difficult to get a car loan reaffirmed? I know that we qualify for Ch7 by a means test, but we took 13 because we didn't want to lose our car. We are super upside-down in the loan. (Like $9000 over the bluebook value.) I'm going to call my lawyer on Monday, but i just wanted to see if anyone on here had some good advice.

As far as I know, you can convert a Chapter 13 bankruptcy to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy if you have not made any conversion earlier for the same case. You should consult a bankruptcy attorney to proceed with the case.
