We just filed a BK.. My son is a full time student and attends school out of town. Where can my son obtain a student loan without a cosigner? He tried to apply for the loan and it requred our signature. He did not qualify.

If he is trying to get private loans, he may be out of luck...lenders are lending them out without cosignors the way they used to.
Funding for school should be addressed BEFORE a student heads off to school. If he cannot get funding, what is he going to do?

He could get a job, and prove a steady source of income to a lender, and hope that they will acknowledge that and lend him a loan. Other than that, without a cosigner or good credit, im highly doubtful that he can get a loan.
