Can I start insurance before filing?

I'm probably going to be filing bankruptcy very soon. I have an appointment with an attorney on Dec. 9. My questions is though, is that we lost our dental insurance through my husband's job recently. Can I sign up for dental insurance through my work (it's open season until Dec. 10) without jeopardizing my potential BK filing? THanks.


Thanks! With two kids, dental insurance is a must!
