Does adding to Chapter 13 extend the discharge date?

I have never seen this answer anywhere before. If you add to your already existing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, does it increase the amount of time you are in Bankruptcy before it gets discharged?

I would think that it would. However, I think that you only have up until the time that your plan is confirmed to add anything. I added a bill for $160 to my plan and they didn't say anything about it increasing the time but I am sure that it will. I'm not too worried about it since it is a small amount. My monthly payments are $200 so if anything that would add on another month. Are you planning on adding a large bill?
