Bankruptcy Resource Group, Inc.

Has anyone heard of this company? I received a letter from them in the mail today. Basically they are saying that they can help you get back on your feet after bankruptcy. It's been over year since I filed and 6 months since it has been discharged. Any information on this company will be greatly appreciated it. Thanks.

Bankruptcy Resource Group is locating in Portland oregon and they have a website and are registered with the BBB.

They helped me with an auto loan. Give them a call if you have questions.

Before you decide to do any business with Bankruptcy Resource Group, it is very important that you first read about their owner, Curtis Goodwin, and his past, how he came into this business (via stealing it from another company), and some of his business practices.

You owe it to yourself to identify all of these facts before you do business either as a consumer seeking an auto loan, or as a auto dealer seeking leads.

We will be posting audio recordings soon of Curtis Goodwin's "apology" to his former boss for stealing both client lists, as well as many other proprietary documents and assets.

Curtis Goodwin lost 2 lawsuits to his former boss/company, but that did not stop him from creating yet another company in a different name.

Do your due diligence, as it could potentially save you a tremendous amount of strife.

Richard East is a former business partner that i turned into the IRS. He writes these postings in an effort to dissuade you the consumer form doing business with Bankruptcy Resource Group Inc. However BRG Inc has helped thousands of people who have filed bankruptcy over the years. My apologies that you have to listen to the rants of a delusional jaded former business associate.

Curtis Goodwin is an interesting bugger. First, you have to question a few facts. When was Bankruptcy Resource Group formed in order to serve these "thousands" of customers?

Fact: Curtis Goodwin lost a lawsuit in 2002, and then signed a later agreement in 2004 that prevented him from being in the Bankruptcy Mail business. The reason for this are many, and for those that are interested, just post here and we will have the court decisions and subsequent documents uploaded, or give you a link to the documents.

Fact: Curtis Goodwin did in fact turn different people in to many governmental agencies, but once again, he is forgetting the "details." On a recording, you can listen to Curtis tell the other parties on the phone that Curtis had devised a "plan" to turn named people into governmental agencies to "prevent" these parties from pursuing Curtis himself. It didn't work, and Curtis Goodwin subsequently lost in court...

Fact: Curtis Goodwin is a former car salesman, subsequently suing his former employer, and walking away with thousands. He then went to work as a US West Yellow Pages salesperson. He was then invited by a friend of his to work for a new Bankruptcy Mail company...and it is from this company that he later committed his crimes. It was outlined in court documents that Curtis Goodwin stole the Client lists, method of sales strategies, and other Intellectual Property. The court ordered the shutting down of "Bankruptcy Solutions Group." (Yes, that was his former company.) Look that company up, and continue to do your due diligence.

Curtis then went into the car industry again, as he was ordered by the court that he could not participate for a period of 18 months, with certain signed documents.

It is speculated that rather than complying with the law, and the agreement that he entered into, that he went into business with another company, with his name not on any official documents. This speculation exists, as today, these two companies exist in the same building...same phone system...same distribution equipment....same everything. Seems like pretty solid "circumstantial evidence" to me.

Fact: Curtis Goodwin has been recorded begging for forgiveness from those that he has wronged, and there seem to be many.

Fact: In 2003, Curtis Goodwin flew to Bucharest, Romania on a business trip for his then current Bankruptcy Mail company. The room he was staying in was fully bugged, with both video and audio, as his employer did not trust him at all. Curtis Goodwin then proceeded to "hire" a
**** from the streets of Bucharest, bringing a woman by the name of Nicoletta to his room. This was unexpected behavior, but recorded nevertheless.

Fact: Curtis Goodwin has responded to this behavior with the **** as creating subsequent problems with his wife and 3 daughters. Curtis is recorded stating that he is now living in a 1 room apartment, while his wife and 3 daughters are living in the family home.

Fact: Curtis Goodwin is now making threats to "turn" people into the "authorities" for posting this information on the net. Unfortunately for Curtis, the net is free...and pending "lies" being told, of which everything stated above is either recorded via audio, or video, or via court documents. Curtis on the other hand can only demonstrate his reckless, emotional, and out of control behavior. He loves going to the police if you look at his cross-eyed. He is a self-proclaimed "Law & Order" junkie, so...hmmm...

Again, for anyone interested in obtaining further documentation on Curtis Goodwin, or any of the recordings or documents I have outlined, just let us know and we will get them to you.

Curtis thinks that by posting to this site that he will counteract the facts. What he doesn't realize is that each time he posts to this site, it creates a new post, raising this entire thread in the search engines. Interesting tactic.

Curtis, in your post, where you quickly run to make claims of other people being "bad" and you being "good"....I decided to go to your website.

You claim to have helped "thousands" of people...yet you do not have even one testimonial from your clients. Not one testimonial from an Auto dealer...and not one testimonial from the thousands of consumers that you have helped.

It seems to me that you are inflating the "numbers" to make you and your company seem better than they are, not to mention the fact that if you have indeed "Not" helped thousands of people, that it is you committing a quite a disservice to the public by using "puffery" to sell more of your "stuff."

Where are any of the thousands of people you have served testimonials. Certainly at least 1 of them has something good to say about your service...why would you not put that on your website?

Just my 2 cents. It is companies like Bankruptcy Resource Group that makes us feel that we need to get back into the "credit" rat race...when really we need to be focused on saving money...and living an all cash life. What advantage does credit give us really? The opportunity to pay interest? The opportunity to be stressed out by payments? No thanks. I opt to remain 100% cash...pay for things when I truly have the money...and not worry about what I don't have. In the end...I will be stress free...and not in a situation where I am continually stressed about "bills." So, the next time I get a cheesy letter from one of these companies promising me "credit" solutions...it is easy...I throw it in the garbage!

Establishing "credit" is very necessary....Your credit score plays into a lot these days. Such as automotive insurance, even cellular companies. Even apartment complexes base a lot of their decision making on your credit score. Living in an *All Cash* world might sound great, especially after the intimidating process of a bk, but it's completely unrealistic.

Sometimes in business things go sideways, but I have known Curtis for 20 years and can tell you that i have never had any issues with him both as a friend or as a business partner. I represented Curtis while he played professional baseball, and find him to be a stand up guy. If anything did go wrong, you at least owe it to yourselves, the purported victims and Curtis prior to coming up to your conclusions. Thanks
