commerce bank declined me?

heres the story. i had a bank account with wamu. it was overdrawn for $240. couldnt pay it back they charged it off and reported me to checksystems. i payed it back and rite after that i applied for a boa campus edge checking account. at first they didnt automatically approve it they said it was gonna need further proccessing and then a day later, they approved it. i've had it, for about a week now and its working good. well 2 days ago i opened one at commerce bank and i gave them the deposit and they took it and gave me some temporary checks. then they call me and tell me the account was closed becasue they ran it through chexsystems, they gave me my deposit back and said it wouldnt go on my credit report.

what he didnt tell me is if it was going to be on my chexsystems report im going to call them back and see. what do you all think.

and do you think if they did that boa will close my new account? im paranoid now and freakin out

How old is your reported from WAMU?? Bank if America is approving most everyone reported to chexsystems. Your accounts should be fine. the only ones that they are denying are those that have recent reports and those that owe Bank of America money from a prior account. If your report had been too recent, they would have denied you from the start.

Commerce bank is well known to open accounts and later close them. Many banks do nto run chexsystems initially and will then run it at a later time. It is absolutely crazy. Some wait even longer and people will set up direct deposit and then be in a real bind.

I would try not to worry, I am sure you are fine with Bank of America. I would make sure you make your initial deposit in the first 30 days to be safe.
