I have two small debts with a company called

Cred Protection Assoc
1355 Noel rd Suite 2100
Dallas, TX 75240

972-233-9614 is the phone number showing for them but when I try it I get no longer in service and it is the only number coming up when I do a search on the company.

Anyone have knowledge of a different phone number that is working?

Finally found these people on the BBB with a bit of creative change in spelling of the name. Just in case anyone else has need of this company. Hope its ok to post the BBB report since it is a public record.

Collection Agencies

I called the phone number 1-972-233-9614 and was able to talk to a customer service representative. This company was on my credit report, had NO idea about what they were collecting for. I called and found it it was from some video store that I had NEVER even been to! I had my drivers license stolen that weekend when I was visiting a friend who lived about 30 miles from that town. Go figure huh? I'm wondering if him or one of his other friends took my license! Anyhow, I disputed the charges, and they told me to call them back in 30 days to find out what's going on. The guy I spoke with, his name was Carlos.

Thank you all so much for this. I just spoke to CPA at this number two weeks ago and now the number's disconnected. Wonder why they didn't think to include a recording directing people to their new number? Sheesh.
