You can also opt out online by going to optoutprescreen.com ,this link is the one they give out when you call 1-888-5optout.
OPTing out is a BIG first step in Credit Repair/Negotiations. It prevents Fishing expiditions form Junk Debt Buyers looking for "easy" consumers to scam, stops unsolicatated CC offers and other junk offers as well.
