Do you have any income? If you have to let the car go back, food
Do you have any income? If you have to let the car go back, food and housing is more important, you can always pick up the pieces later you need to take care of yourself first.
Have you contacted public aid for assistance? Even the local Food Pantry, or Salvation Army or Social Services for assistance...
Start canceling un-needed services if you have cable, or car insurance, phone service, start cutting extra where you can.
I am not sure what else to suggest not knowing your situation. If you can give a bit more information, also there is a service called Project now that you can contact them to cover utilities, and you can also contact local churches for food... just a few ideas that I hope can help you out.
I just went through similar situation myself so these are places I was able to contact to help me just in the last 6 months.
A noble suggestion indeed by Pammila Thanks for contributing

Hi tati1900,
Welcome to the forum.
There can be nothing more welcome than a warm meal after a hectic day. It's time you get aware of that. Get rid of your cars and get hold of your normal lifestyle. :)
You have not mentioned the exact amount of debt you are undergoing. You have also mentioned regarding two cards for which you have not made payments for months together. On getting some detailed information regarding your financial condition, and the exact amount of your debt, we could have given you more suggestions.
However, Pammila is been like a real live help to you with her wonderful communicative ways to share your problems.
Feel free to come forward with any further queries and hope you have better times ahead. Also share your experience and insights with the other members of the forum.
Cheers,
Jason

Life and the basic necessities are the most important. As long as you have those things, you can rebuild your life as soon as you get back on your feet and out of debt. So yes, I will echo the need to get rid of the car.
Do you live in a big city? If it is possible then try to take public transportation. And even try to carpool with others. Also, make a monthly budget and evaluate your monthly expenses. Cut out all unnecessary waste that is taking up money. And apply that surplus money to what is most important: food, clothing, and shelter.
