Protect Yourself from Identity Theft

One of my friends recently became a victim of identity theft. As a result I have become interested in how to protect myself from the same fate.

I've found some good software (firewall and virus protection) and lessons on personal internet securtiy and how to prevent identity theft and what to do if you become a victim.
