Any other option than filing for bankruptcy

Hey,

New to this whole thing...I've been consumed beyond belief in debt, to the point that already in my young life I am beginning to wonder if I'll ever see the light of day. Due to career changes that were beyond my control, not the best education in the world (no college degrees here), and just poor planning I have had to resort to "short term financial support" in other words Pay Day loans....and with the monster interest rates it is going to prove to be near to impossible to ever get them all out of the way....Because I am paying so much money in just extending them, I have had to let other bills fall to the side. My Utilities bill is over 700$, I have two credit cards that have been turned to collection agencies, not to mention I still over 1000$ on my computer, which I have had for about 5 years now...There is just no way that I can afford to make all these payments, and have any hope of paying rent, not to mention gas for my car, or anything beyond that, like FOOD....I just want to know that I'm not looking at a dead end and that at 23 years of age bankruptcy is my only option. Please tell me there is still hope?

Ben

Hi again playstation60

I have replied to your previous post in the following thread. Please have a look at the following url.

I will not recommend you to file for bankruptcy as it stays in the credit report for a large period of time and has devastating effects. Moreover, as per the new bankruptcy laws, you will still be required to clear your debts if you are capable to earn.

So, consolidation will be a better option to erase your past debts and shape up your credit file
