Credit Card Debt


I have numerous credit cards that I have been making the above minimum payments, but recently had a credit card company increase my interest to 29.99%. I have a balance of over 19k. I seem to be getting no where paying them and now my credit rating is being hammered. What can I do and if I use your assistance how does this effect my credit rating?

You can try to negotiate with your credit card company for a reasonable payment arrangement or reduce your interest rate. Otherwise, the collection agencies will endlessly keep calling you and harass you for no reason.

    About the second part of your question, I can tell you that debt consolidation program does not affect your credit rating. It will rather help you to improve your credit score.
