Hi d p young sr,

Welcome to the debt consolidation care forum.

Don't worry about this issue. The law is at your end. According to the fdcpa a collector is bound to stop calling you once you send him a written notice that you are not interested to entertain such calls. Not only is he compelled to stop calling you but even cannot try to communicate further with you by any means. Any type of communication is highly prohibited, once he receives your written notice.

In order to collect debts he can now communicate only with your attorney and ask for a prior appointment before calling you or meeting you in person.

If the collector does not abide by this law then you have the right to sue him for a maximum amount of $1000 from the day the collector breaks the law.

For further details on FDCPA view:

So don't worry , but take care to immediately give a written notice to the collector who is harassing you.8)

Do feel free to consult us for further queries and hope you share your feedback with us.

Regards,
Faithful buddy

Hi d p young sr

As said by faithfulbuddy, you can send one written notice to the collector to stop calling you. If that does not work, you can take the help of law to sue them.

And as you have late bills, you can take the help of debt consolidation to pay your bills. Ignoring your bills will keep on adding interest and late charges.

You can start using all the services of debt consolidation after filling one short registration form at the home page of this site. After registering yourself at this site for free, one professionally trained consultant will get in touch with you and evaluate the best payment plan suitable to your needs.

Hoping to hear from you soon
