I didn't know that. However, found out that soooo many of these payday loan companies are either the same affiliate or the actual same company under different entities. When I started to straighten out my mess, learned that 4 lenders were actually thru the same company. Why the heck did they give me 4 loans at one time? Most likely cause they wanted the huge amount of money (because they new I would refinance) and because their computer systems are probably just small networks and not connected together. What do you think?

The companies that are affiliated together have violated laws in alot of states by issuing the customer more than 1 loan. In my state, you can have only one pdl per company. I had online pdls and the one company was affiliated with 2 of the other places that loaned.

I think what I read yesterday that Florida can only have 1 and no 'rollovers'. So they were in violation, correct? Is this just because of a legal loop hole in between states and statutes that they are able to do this?

Bahamas marketing group is also another company that owns several small pay day loan companies, but serves as the parent company to them all.
They will give anyone a loan that has a pulse and a checking account. It's very possible for a person to have a many as 10, 11, even 13 loans with different companies, yet all of those companies are owned by a parent company, in this case Bahamas market group.
Truly mind boggling. It's a vicious cycle these payday loans, people are having to pull out more loans just to cover other loans. I can't believe this type of robbery is still legal.

PDL's are just evil. I've said before that it's like a drug. They're addictive, and getting away from them is very hard. You get them to stay ahead with your bills and end up in even more trouble. Stay FAR FAR away from them, right? :)
