Welcome to the forums. The accounts that you will be including in the debt consolidation program will be closed or frozen as the objective is to make you debt free within a stipulated period of time. The purpose of doing this is that you don't acquire additional credit being in the program.
The consultant will be providing you the budgeting programs on how to live a planned life on cash. I will suggest you to keep one major account separate from the program and make timely payments on that account so that it can be used during emergencies.
