Cost of the debt consalidation program

How much do you charge for your services? I owe 45,000 -- how long would it take to pay this off and how long?

Hi Carmen

Welcome to the forums. debt consolidation program with this company is completely free of cost and there is no service fee for the services offered to you.

At rarest occasion, you may be required to pay a very nominal fee to the consultant. This amount has also been found to be negotiated after a healthy relation is built between the consultant and you.

Debt consolidation program will give you the benefits of a reduction in your total debt amount as all the financial charges and/or the late fees will be waived from it. All your multiple bills will be consolidated into one loan amount in easy monthly installments and at lower rate of interest.

David, do you want to talk with one of the consultants? Register in this site and someone will call you back for discussing on your accounts and frame your easy monthly payment plans. Try a consolidation program for paying off your past debts and improve your credit file.

Laws on bankruptcy have become more complex. You don't have to consider this option if you can make your consolidation payments. Look at the benefits you will be getting in the program.

Roxette,

I don't mean to hijack this thread, I tried to find a link to pm you on this thread but didn't see one. I have some questions. In your post to Carmen you refer to "this company". Are you referring to debt consolidation care? It was my impression that they were the entity providing the website, I was not aware that they are a debt consolidation organization in their own right. You also advised Carmen that once he/she registered they would be contacted by a debt consultant in their locality. I have already registered and I live in Michigan. When the debt consultant contacted me they said were from Consumer credit counseling of America which is in Florida. We discussed my situation and I was advised by the consultant that their was a non-refundable initial start up fee that would be equal to my monthly payment under the programs. This same company has some outstanding complaints regarding its' business practices registered with the BBB. My first impression was that consumer credit counseling of America hijacked the referral from debtconsolidationcare.com. Once again I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I am a bit confused as to who is doing what for whom. It would be quite helpful if debtconsolidation.com provided a complete listing of all the debt consolidation organizations they refer members to so that we can be sure we are talking to the right people and not someone who is trying to hustle us.

When you sign up in this website for a free counseling, the system sends you to a "thank you" page which tells the name of the company you are registered with. Later, when you get the call from the consultant, you know whom you are talking with.

After I signed up in this website, I got a call from Federated Financial Counseling Services. They are presently handling my debt accounts under the program. You can always take the free counseling referred by this website. It's your choice whether you want to sign up with them or shop for some other company.
