Consolidation

What laws protect me from a Consolidation Company not honoring our written contract, making late payments to my debtors, and causing a judgement to be placed on my property? Please Help!!!!

Hi John

Welcome to the forums. debt consolidation companies are required to satisfy the needs of the consumers during their times of need.

If a particular company is not making payments to your creditors and causing a judgment to be placed in your property, you need to take strict action against such company as they are violating the law.

Please submit your written complaint to the State Attorney General office or BBB.

Remember that debt consolidation companies are required to properly function in the business keeping the interests of the consumers secure. Please file a complaint against such companies involved in malicious acts.

Hi John

Welcome back. By clicking on the url, you will be entering your contact information at the database of the Federal Government office. After receiving your information, an authorized person from the bureau will get in touch with you to do a case study. He along with his team will be investigating the matter and submitting the report to the government office. Henceforth, a necessary action will be taken against the company.

You can also submit a copy of your complaint to the BBB for prompt action.

Hi John

Welcome to the forums

In this case the Law of Contract Act protects you from being harassed by the creditors. You have registered yourself in a debt consolidation program and after that it is the duty of the debt consolidation company to make regular payments to the creditors to bring you out of debt. But they have not acted as they should have. You should immediately consult an attorney and take his/her help. In addition please lodge a complain against the debt consolidation company at FTC and in the Attorney General's Office. Further you should also lodge a complain in various Consumer Protection Agencies.

Hope you will find this information useful.

Regards
Peter
