It was an 888 number.

mini-called the number-twice,it said it was not a working number? hope this helps,wouldn't worry about it...Karen

Thanks Karen! I'm just so freaking on edge whenever the phone rings that I panic when somehting like this comes up. If I could get by with unplugging the phone I would!

mini-you are welcome-don't let them have that much power over you.I know how you feel,I bought a phone I could turn off the ringer,but had a recorder so I wouldn't miss the call I wanted. You can just do what you can do and tha's it. I do my best to take care of my responsibilities,bills,etc.,but that is all I can do for now. I have to have a roof over my head,eat,utilities,medicine,etc.,then I pay extra on my bills if there is any left.I do try to take care of the phone calls for my own sake so it doesn't make me crazy. I try to work out payments,etc., and if they won't work with me,I send what I can and tyr not to let it bother me.Good luck to you...Karen
