Woo-hoo!!!!
Thanks you for you corresponded. We have noted you revoke authorization for account number *****. We have forwarded your letter to our law firm for review. By revoking authorization on this loan you will no longer be allowed to receive a cash advance from M1Y Direct, its affiliates or partners. You account is paid in full and no further debiting will take place.
If you have any question please feel free to respond to this email.
Thanks,
M1Y Direct, Inc
Thank you so much to this website and the incredibly supportive members; this is the first little bit of light I've seen at the end of the tunnel, and I never would have been able to do it without this site and the wonderful people in it!!

PayDay2Go.com was slightly less happy sounding in their response, but what the heck, it worked :) The address the email was sent from was PayDay2Go.com, so if they do debit my account this Friday anyway, this should count as written acknowledgement not to do so, right?
Although we would disagree with all of your findings our legal department has agreed to comply with your request due to the cost of litigating this would not be economically beneficial over the amount of the loan. So we do not acknowledge that any of your allegations to be true we will agree to settle this in full from previous payments.

took out a pay day loan from M1Y. My bank returned the fee of 75 dollars for the renewal last week. I received a call from a law firm saying they were going to press charges against me for fraud and misuse of FDIC regulated bank funds and a few other things. I really don't know what to do. I want to pay them off but I can't as quickly as they want me to. Can they really take me to court and charge me as a criminal?
is this an internet loan? Also it was not a law firm but rather
is this an internet loan?
Also it was not a law firm but rather a seedy collection agency you are not going to be chargfed with fraud and misued of FDIC regulated bank funds they are trying to scare you..Worst case scenario they can civil suit you but it sounds like they may be doing things illegally so I wouldn't count on that either...

I believe that eventually they could try and take you to court (but probably wouldn't). Most of these places want to avoid legal costs (especially if they are not on the up and up). If you have already tried to make arrangements with them and they want it faster, I would just keep sending the most you can.
